My Class Facilitation will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The topic that my group and I will cover is Rhythm from Chapter 8 of the textbook.

From observing many class facilitation presentations already, I have gotten a better sense of what techniques are more useful and helping the class better comprehend the material. 

​

Personally, I have always been able to better understand a concept when I can apply it to the real world, and it seems that the majority of the class learns that way as well. Therefore, I plan to keep the class engaged in the facilitation by introducing many activities that compliment the material on rhythm. 

​

Another idea that I have for this assignment is to ask a lot of questions. I have always comprehended material better during class lectures when the instructor is asking students questions, even if it is just a guess, than projecting the material themselves. I feel this technique ignites critical thinking within the audience, causing them to become more engaged and absorb the material better.
